PROJECT MANAGER
Ben began his career in the Oil and Gas industry in 2007. He has spent the past ten years working in an EPC environment as a Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager. He has worked on a variety of projects including pipelines, compressor stations, gas plants, condensate stabilization, oil batteries, CO2 injection, enhanced oil recovery, sulphur recovery, and NGL loading / offloading stations.
As a project manager, duties include proposals , project estimating, DBM & PEP development, project scheduling & cost control, project coordination & client reporting. , PID development and , equipment layouts, regulatory submission support, equipment evaluation & recommendations, engineering design & safeguarding reviews, contract evaluations, construction coordination, and field engineering support.
Ben completed both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degrees at the University of New Brunswick in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He is a registered member of APEGA.
Ben is originally from Prince Edward Island but now calls Calgary home. He is a proud husband and father of two young boys and enjoys camping, boating, skiing, hockey and soccer.
